This past week I was impressed to edit and update my book on fear. We are living in fearful times and the reasons for people to have fear are increasing day by day. I have been hearing and seeing a need for this ministry for quite a while. After completing the work on the book, I was led of the Holy Spirit to go through it again by teaching it during our Sunday morning gathering. The video and audio of this teaching is on our website.

I have found so many people who have a strong man of fear in their lives, and as we say in the book, there are so many kinds of fear that it is impossible to list them all. Some fears are obvious in a person’s life. You hear them talk about it. You hear them say, “ I was afraid” or “I worries me” or “That really bothers me” or, simply, “That scares me.”

On the other hand, I have encountered many people with phobias. These are people who fear heights or water or flying or bugs or whatever. Such fears can bring great limitation to a person’s life. Sometimes these fears are embarrassing; nonetheless, I am often surprised to discover some of the most powerful people in the world that harbor such fright. I am also amazed at how many Christians are burdened with pervasive and perpetual anxiety.

Perhaps, for most folks, the greatest fear in entire the world is the fear of death. Until that fear is conquered and eradicated out of our lives, there will always be a degree of control bearing upon the decisions we make about our bodies and our activities. I come again to the Scripture. In Hebrews the second chapter, beginning with verse 14:

“in as much then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, he himself likewise shared in the same that through death he might destroy him who had the power of death, that is the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”

You can break free from the fear of death. It is possible to live without any fear whatsoever, except the reverential fear of God. That's what this teaching and little book is all about. I make it available in hopes that many of you will partake of the Ministry within and find deliverance and freedom from fear. We are promised such liberty by our loving heavenly father through Jesus Christ his son

Jesus now has the keys to death and Hades. After you get free of fear, stay close to Him.
