What Power!

Do you realize what power there is in unity?

Can you see why Satan and the demons work so hard to keep us in disagreement and strife?

Unity is so powerful that the wicked people who decided to build a tower to reach heaven could not be stopped without God intervening. How did he stop them? He confounded their language—they had unity because they all spoke the same thing.

What does this event say to us?

As Jesus said: "If two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven." He, of course, is not talking about some casual opinion or suggestion. This can be serious and effective stuff.

For instance, a husband and wife; two friends; a committee and what about a whole church?

Discord is destructive and deadly, but unity can move mountains.
